COMPLETING TASKS

It is important you use the right equipment and be safe when cutting locks. Use an angle grinder, and a clamp to hold the lock in place while you cut. Be sure to use safety gloves and glasses when you cut.

If you need any of this equipment, let us know and we can have it ordered for you.

Preparing a recently vacated unit for the next customer.
  1. Open the unit, and ensure it is empty of all items. If there are any items left behind, please take a picture and upload it in the app.
  1. Make sure the floor is swept clean and the unit looks presentable for the next customer.
  1. Inspect the unit for any issues. If you find any issues, try to fix them and report them in the app. This includes:
      • Leaks
      • Damage to walls or door or latch
      • Insects or rodents/rodent droppings
  1. Place a new disc lock and key inside the unit on the floor (remove the plastic packaging if it is a brand new lock)
  1. Lock up the vacant unit using a Davinci Lock (4 digit combination lock). Please make sure to take a picture of the lock and the serial number and upload it in the app, so we know which lock was placed.
  1. Click “Submit”
Placing an overlock on a unit for non-paying customers.
  • Place a Davinci lock on the unit next to the customer’s lock
  • Take a picture of the Davinci lock serial number and submit.
We may ask you to remove Davinci locks from certain units to place them back into our inventory when we are running low.
  • The code to the Davinci lock for that unit should be in the task notes.
    • If the code does not work, contact us with the lock’s serial number, and we will send you the unlock code.
  • After removing the lock, place it back into our supply inventory, or use it for another Lockout task if needed.
  • We will include a description and/or photos of the repair needed inside the app
  • If you are unable to complete the repairs (too big of a job; not something you know how to do, etc) just mark the repair as “Can’t Complete” in the app, and provide a brief description about why you can’t complete it.
Once a month, we want to do a quick check on all the units to make sure these is nothing unusual going on with any units.
  • Click on “Unit Inventory” in the bottom menu of the app
  • For each unit, answer the questions listed in the app
  • If there is a Davinci lock on the unit, please enter the serial number and/or upload a picture of the Davinci lock
  • If you notice any other issues with the unit, please provide a description and a picture
